BJP not averse to supporting Paswan

With Ram Vilas Paswan's LJP emerging a key player in Bihar, BJP today hinted that it was not averse to supporting Paswan in forming the government in a situation of "deadlocked" assembly.

"If you have a deadlocked assembly, not just a hung assembly, one of the options is to negotiate with someone who can form the government," said BJP General Secretary Arun Jaitley.

He was replying to whether his party would support Paswan to form a new government to keep the RJD out of power.
